At JBI we pride ourselves on being a team. Everyone brings something special to the table and you’ll find it very helpful having our collective input. Working together ensures we can cover all bases, from a creative and practical point of view.
We have over 50 years of design experience between us, with backgrounds ranging from fashion design and curtain-making to business and interior design.
Amanda’s mother Julia Blunt started JBI in 1977 and so she has grown up surrounded by pattern books and design ideas. Her love of design was fuelled by extensive travel, as well as living in Paris for 4 years, where she was inspired by the classic French aesthetic.
Amanda joined her mother at JBI in 1987 in order to share her passion for designing different houses and spaces with our clients. She achieved Honours after studying at KLC School of Design. Amanda is a friendly, energetic team player who loves sharing her extensive knowledge and bouncing ideas and concepts off colleagues and clients alike.
After a successful time managing Estate Agent offices in Notting Hill and Brook Green, Rosie quickly realised she had an eye for seeing the potential in properties. Determined to use this skill she embarked on a new career in Interior Design, joining the team JBI in 2002.
Rosie is fun, approachable and has the wonderful ability to interpret our clients’ vision and desires with unerring accuracy. She is also a lateral thinker with a love of light and space, keen to discover the most effective design solutions for our projects.
Emma’s early career was in womens’ fashion. Emma’s love of fabrics, colour and texture meant Interior Design was a natural transition and she started working with JBI in 1992.
Emma is fascinated by the process of creating a home and loves working with clients to achieve the perfect results. One of her great skills is ensuring spaces are aesthetically beautiful and also practical. Emma is a real people person and always gets the best out of her team, ensuring projects move smoothly to completion.
Isabella started working in the world of Interior Design after university. Graduating from the KLC School of Design with Honours, she started her career as part of a team designing luxury yachts and private planes. Realising her passion lay with residential properties she moved her focus back to dry land, joining JBI in 2013.
With a creative eye and huge enthusiasm for new challenges, Isabella brings design flair and new ideas to our projects at every opportunity.
